Great recommendations, Jerry. I'm familiar with all but Professor T. I'll look for that.
I realize that it's old news, but I just this week finished season 9, which you know is the last, of the wonderful LEWIS series. A few months back you gave it a very good review. I had to get used to Hathaway's " grumpy" demeanor. I so enjoyed those final scenes in Season 9.
We're so fortunate to have PBS bringing these shows to us.
Thanks for the Thou Shalt Not Kill tip. I'm currently stuck into Blue Lights on Britbox. Does not make you want to live in Belfast, let alone be a cop there. The first season has scary Catholics, the second, now just starting to air, nasty Loyalists. In neither is the past dead. Getting lots of rave reviews, justifiably. Started watching the Law according to Lidia Poet on Netflix, another Italian series, set in the 19th century. In two minds about this one. After Andre Braugher died I wanted to revisit Homicide -- Life on the Street, the groundbreaking series from the late 80's set in Baltimore but not yet streaming. Found it on DVD in my local library. It has aged really well.
great series of recommendations, and like Ginny, will look for Professor T. Gave up on Grantchester long time ago, but maybe look at again!

Stay cool through these HOT days.
Speaking of Baltimore, The Wire was outstanding. My son recommended I watch it after I served on a multi-week jury on a drug trafficking case.
