Now running on PBS
I have covered P.D James’ Detective Adam Dalgliesh before. For me, the version starring Roy Marsden and Martin Shaw is the best (got a 5+ rating). But the new version starring Bertie Carvel is quite good and it is now running on PBS and viewable via PBS Passport. I give it a 4- rating. Curl up on a rainy fall day and give it a try.
I'm only familiar with this current version but I would also give it a 4 star rating. I like the writing and the cast.
I am mystified by the pronounciation "DL".
